Firstly, I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to DTU in providing us with the opportunity to sign this partnership MoU and Agreement for exchange program with you.
In today’s increasingly globalized world, it is essential that individuals recognize social problems as their own and work within their communities to find solutions. Such efforts will lead to new ideas and successful strategies for creating and maintaining a sustainable society. To achieve these goals, we emphasize the importance of cultivating skills such as foreign language proficiency, cultural awareness, problem solving and logical reasoning.
Jissen Women’s University strives to enhance education that enables students to acquire and practice such abilities and attitudes through international activities. We hope to support international students and enrich their educational experiences. Therefore, through our partnership with DTU, we expect to achieve the set goals and help students develop comprehensively."

According to the cooperation agreement, the DTU Japanese Language Faculty and Jissen Women’s University will each send students with impressive academic records and active participation in extracurricular activities to participate in the Student Exchange Program. Each exchange session will involve 2 students from each institution, with the exchange period ranging from 6 months to 1 year. This program will not only provide students with the opportunity to experience a new learning environment but also help them improve their language skills and cultural understanding of the host country.
In addition, both institutions will facilitate regular online or in-person sessions between students from both universities. These sessions will serve as opportunities for students to share knowledge, skills, and culture, fostering strong relationships and long-term collaboration.
Dr. Le Nguyen Bao, DTU Provost, said: “We are honored to welcome Professor Masanori Namba and the delegation from Jissen Women’s University to DTU. We greatly appreciate this opportunity for collaboration, especially for our Japanese Language students, who will benefit from participating in the Student Exchange Program abroad. It is very important for students to improve foreign language skills and cultural knowledge. To date, DTU has sent a lot of students to intern at companies in Japan, but this is the first time we directly partner with a Japanese university. Hopefully, many DTU students will participate in the exchange program with your university, and we look forward to hosting students from your university to DTU as well. We hope that right after the signing ceremony, we can begin detailed discussions about the collaboration between our two institutions.”
