·2000-2005: expanding on a large scale to improve step by step
·Since 2006 until now, DTU is striving to upgrade to keep up the innovation, improvement and integration.
According to the development plan of DTU from 2007 to 2020, the Management Board has set 9 goals as detailed:
1. Building up, improving and perfecting an interdisciplinary University model including various levels of training, completing the continuing training program at many levels, keeping up the changes in organization structures and decentralized administration to promote the dynamic, creativity and independence of each department.
2. Concentrating on the training for the manpower, especially for the administrative staff and permanent lecturers so as to adapt to the needs of society.
3. Conducting the training programs based on credit system and diversifying various types of training to create the best conditions for students in their study, eliminating negative forms of cheating in teaching and learning.
4. Making breakthroughs to transfer the quality of training through the application of many modern education systems over the world for the regional and international integration.
5. Building up a fair and comfortable working environment for the staff and offering policies to encourage enterprises to associate in the training and researching activities.
6. Closely combining training and doing scientific researches to improve the quality in teaching, professional and prestige of DTU.
7. Constantly developing the living standards for staff and lecturers through suitable policies to create a fair and comfortable working place.
8. Setting plans and policies to mobilize the capitals and sponsored funds to upgrade the facilities and the equipments of DTU.
9. Building up the Party, Trade Union, Youth Union… to be the key organizations for all activities in Duy Tan University.
