Master's Programs

Master’s Degree Programs at DTU

In 2009, the Prime Minister issued a resolution permitting DTU to offer Master’s degrees and the university has been continuously working on the creation of a modern infrastructure and high-quality curricula to successfully implement such programs, backed by a team of experienced lecturers from prestigious universities worldwide, especially from America.

DTU currently offers ten Master’s programs, in Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Pharmacology Management, International Relations, Electronic Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Economic Law and Finance-Banking. Recently, agreements have been signed with Fooyin University in Taiwan to develop an International Master of Nursing degree, and with Koblenz·Landau University, for a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship, Technology and Innovation Management.

DTU makes the difference with an increased number of English teaching hours and extracurricular activities. Students study for nine credits in English, three more than at other universities. DTU’s objective is to enable graduates to fully understand specialized English documentation.

To enroll for a Master’s degree at DTU, candidates need a university degree in the same major or in one closely related. The course takes two years, taught during normal daily working hours.

While studying and researching, postgraduate students will receive support and training in special laboratories and workshops and be given access to required information, including IEEE/IEL, IOP, Proquest, AIP/APS, Springer Link, the Web of Science and others.

Graduates will be able to:

- Organize and conduct independent research

- Continue to a PhD course

- Work at universities and research institutes

- Approach new issues in their field of expertise in a logical way

- Communicate in English in their specialty
