PNU Electrical Engineering

Duration: 4.5 years

 

Training program:

 

- The program details electricity concepts at every level, from electromagnetic and the tiniest computer circuitry, to large-scale electronic systems, and students learn about the methods power their daily lives

- DTU provides PNU Electrical Engineering students with advanced international academic curricula and study materials from Purdue University.

-  Lecturers from Purdue University come to teach every semester

- Students receive Certificates of Completion conferred by Purdue University

 

Working skills:

 

Graduate will be able to:

 

- Apply their knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering

- Design and conduct experiments and analyze and interpret results

- Design systems, components or processes to meet requirements to meet economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety standards, manufacturability and sustainability

 - Identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems

- Electrical Engineers in a variety of engineering industries such as Automotive, Chemical, Construction, Defence, Electronics, Consumer Goods, Marine, Materials & Metals, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals, Power Generation, Rail and Telecoms

- Designers and developers in high-tech industries

- Technical directors or executives in manufacturing

- Chip designers, such as Intel, Renesas of Japan, Acromic (in HCMC and Danang) and Esilicion (in HCMC Dalat and Danang)

- Staff in companies with network and communication systems

- Vocational schools, colleges and universities

  • STUDENTS’ ACHIEVEMENTS

    - Creative award in the 2015 National Festival for Creative Youth with project entitled  "A Robot that Guides pedestrians across the street”, awarded by the HCM Communist Youth Union Central Committee, 

    - CDIO Basic 2nd prize in the CDIO Academy 2013 held at MIT & Harvard University in America with project entitled “Solar and Battery-Powered Alphabet Blocks”,

    - Third prize in the 2014 National Robocon Contest,  

    - Consolation prize for Microcontroller Design awarded by Texas Instruments in 2013,  - First prize at the 2014 Student Research Conference

    - First prize for a paper at the Students’ Science Conference and one Impressive prize for the display of a research project in 2014.

  • LECTURERS’ ACHIEVEMENTS

    - Third prize in the 11th Technology Innovation competition in Danang

    - Creative Labor plaque awarded by the Vietnam Labor Federation in 2012.

    -  Creative Labor cup awarded by the Danang Labor Union in 2011.
