DTU is a reliable choice for construction engineering applicants
The Construction sector severely lacks qualified professionals
Vietnam is currently attracting investors from around the world, and their new construction projects will give the country a brand-new look. The basic needs of householders are no longer only shelter from the cold, rain and sunshine, but now esthetics, modernity and elegance have been added to their requirements, as new high-rise buildings and attractive residences are quickly springing up everywhere. All of this activity is evidence of the recent rapid growth and impact of the public and industrial construction sector in Vietnam.
As the nation develops, the demand for building infrastructure and urbanization remains strong. It is estimated that from thirty to forty percent of the GDP is invested in construction, which is double that of the average industry growth overall, pushing up the demand for qualified resources. According to the year-end general report of the Vietnam Federation of Civil Engineering Associations, there are 78,000 construction companies in Vietnam who will require an additional half million workers yearly, including more than 20,000 engineers.
