DTU dentists provide dental care at the "Oral Health Day"
With a training program developed based on a framework approved and issued by the Ministry of Education and Training through decision number 12/2001/QD-BGD&DT on April 26, 2001, DTU has officially begun enrolling students in the Dentistry program since the 2018-2019 academic year.
To ensure training effectiveness, the DTU Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology has developed its human resources with a team of staff and lecturers including Professors, Associate Professors, PhDs, Masters, Specialists level I and II, Pharmacists, Nurses, etc., along with numerous visiting lecturers from hospitals in Da Nang such as: Da Nang Hospital, C Da Nang Hospital, Military Hospital 17, Hospital 199 - Ministry of Public Security, Da Nang City Dental Hospital, along with Hue Central Hospital as the main training practice facility.
The 6-year Odonto-Stomatology program is regularly updated to align with dental training trends, locally and globally, aiming to meet the competency standards for Doctor of Odonto-Stomatology issued by the Ministry of Health in August 2016. In addition to focusing on professional training, DTU Odonto-Stomatology program also emphasizes improving foreign language proficiency and scientific research capabilities of students, aiming for integration with countries in the region, especially within the ASEAN Economic Community, in line with the mutual recognition agreement for Odonto-Stomatology degrees among countries in the community.
The DTU Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology has made sustained efforts to provide qualified dentists to meet the high demands for healthcare and aesthetic treatments in the society.
