The DTU volunteers will work with local people to build a new 200 meter road, instruct children, educate local women in reproductive health, repair electrical equipment, arrange community music shows and give gifts to needy households, in order to improve the day-to-day lives of rural communities, according Danang’s new rural planning model.
Joining the Green Summer Campaign for the first time, Dang Thi Phuong Thao, a student of the K19 class in the Accounting Faculty, said: “I am excited because this campaign helps me to improve my teamwork and broaden my practical experience by helping underprivileged families. I am sure that I will be left with many happy memories and new friends after we have worked together.”
