On September 26th, 2010, the DTU Informatics Center in cooperation with the REDSUN Company of Ho Chi Minh City held a seminar “Applications of Revit Building Software in Architecture, Construction and Electrical Refrigeration.” Many students from Construction, Architecture and IT participated. The aim of the seminar was to demonstrate the practical use of advanced technology to DTU students.
The 2011 Autodesk Revit Architecture building design software is used by architects and designers to quickly and creatively plan and refine their work.
A user-friendly feature of Revit software is to allow 3D viewing and to create a shadow, which helps designer to visualize their projects.
“Managers are interested in using Revit software because of its features and precision. So, if you can use this software at university, it will help you find a good job right afterwards”, said Dr. Le Hung Tien.
In the future, REDSUN will work with DTU to organize short courses on using Autodesk Revit software. This will be a good opportunity for students of Construction and Architecture in Danang to improve their skills and qualifications for their future careers.
