On 14 Nov. 2009, Information Technology Department (ITD) and Electronics & Telecommunication Department (ECD)-Duy Tan University, in conjunction with Truong Tan Group (TTG), held the program “Microsoft Day-Way to become a pro IT” at K7/25 Quang Trung, Danang city.
The program was attended by Mr. Vo Thanh Hai-Vice Rector of DTU, leaders of ITD, ECD, TTG, together with hundreds of IT students from DTU and other local universities.
“Most of the Central students are ill-prepared for realistic skills and slowly approach new tools and technologies, so we expect to partner with IT education institutions in Danang to improve the training quality” Mr. Tran Van Hung-director of TTG said when delivering the opening speech.
At the program, Mr. Ho Dac Bien-lecturer of TTG introduced the overview of network system model and instructed students to install a mock one. Students also exchanged with information technology expertise and engineers and took part in many other activities.
The program is a good chance for students to enhance knowledge and empower them with the relevant skills needed to take the opportunities in the IT industry; concurrently, indicates the training motto of DTU that is education in combination with practice.
