On the morning of June 6th, 2009, in association with the FAST Joint-Stock Company, DTU hold a seminar called “The Fast Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System.” The seminar was part of DTU’s objective to expand its relationships local companies.
Attending at the seminar were Mr. Phan Quoc Khanh, General Director and Acting Chairman of the FAST Company, Dr.Le Dan from the Danang Economic University, Mr.Nguyen Huu Phu, Dean of the DTU Accounting Faculty of DTU and other guests from local universities.
The seminar was aimed to provide enterprises guidance on how to choose and implement ERP and to offer faculty and students practical information about ERP.
After the opening speech, Mr. Phan Quoc Khanh talked about “ERP - An Enterprise Management Information System”. He shared his experiences working with ERP, and discussed its positioning in software applications, its characteristics and benefits. Mr. Le Dan emphasized "We need to focus more on this technology because ERP is widely considered to be an excellent solution in the workplace”.
The seminar provided an opportunity faculty and staff members to learn practical ways to improve the quality of teaching and studying at DTU and elsewhere.
