Overview
The Embedded Systems major at Duy Tan University combines knowledge of electronics and information technology. Engineers graduating from this major have knowledge of electronics and are able to design software and to design integrated circuits, in particular the embedded systems used in almost all electric and electronic equipment, such as in mobile phones, cars, machine controllers, and industrial robots. The education and development of embedded technology has become a top priority and several new IC manufacturers have gone into business in Vietnam recently.

Working skills
To facilitate Embedded Technology education, DTU has invested in building state-of-the-art laboratories, specializing in Advanced Telecommunications, Logistics, Virtual Reality and others, teaching IC software and hardware and its integration.
Career prospects
Graduates can find careers in computer technology and consumer electronics:
- Domestic and overseas companies, such as Samsung, Viettel, Intel, Bosch, Renesas from Japan, and Acronic and SDS from the US, with branches in Hanoi, HCMC and Danang
- Software companies
- LG Electronics, Toshiba, Panasonic and others
- Medical and military agencies using electronics devices, integrated programming systems and embedded systems automation
- Vocational schools, colleges and universities.
