K29 ADP Freshmen

In 2014, DTU implemented ADP programs to enable students to obtain US degrees while studying in Vietnam. DTU collaborates with two American universities, who are the only strategic higher education partners in Central Vietnam and the Central Highlands:

- Troy University is a public university, established in 1887 in the state of Alabama under its original name of Troy State University, and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges & Schools (SACS). The Princeton Review ranks it among the best Colleges in the Southeast and, in 2021, Troy University was ranked 44th  among the best Southern universities, by U.S. News

- Keuka College is a private university, established in 1890 in New York state and has received Middle States (MSCHE) accreditation in training quality among higher educational institutions in the US. In 2021, Keuka College was ranked 126th among the best Northern universities, by U.S. News

K29 ADP Freshmen and lecturers

Vietnamese ADP students have access to world-class curricula and receive an international American degree on graduation. The ADP course at DTU is currently an extremely economical choice, priced at one-tenth of the actual cost in the US. Meanwhile, students also benefit from a high-quality international education.

Nguyen Minh Quang received a full scholarship and is a first year K29 student majoring in Computer Science, with an HSGE score of 26.3, and 7.5 points in IELTS exam. She explained: “Since I first learned about the ADP program through the media, I’ve found it interesting and, after I learned more, I was convinced that it offered me the opportunity to experience studying in a truly international environment right here at home. For the next four years I’ll do my best, both in my studies and in school activities to excel in my basic knowledge, skills and life experience. I strongly believe that I will finally realize my dreams, with the dedicated guidance of the Troy University and DTU lecturers, together with the support of my classmates and older students.”

Several Welcoming Day activities energized the K29 ADP Freshmen to make new friends, and better understand their DTU majors and training schedules.
