As part of Harvey Nash Group, NashTech is a global technology, consulting, and outsourcing company, with offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, and later launched in Danang in mid-2021 in coworking space. The 2,000 employees in Vietnam are involved in IT, telecommunications network development and software.

The guest speakers related the history of the birth and development of NashTech, and the K29CMU students gained the latest information and experience on software engineering technology, and how to prepare themselves for a career in software engineering.

Mr. Bui Thanh Son emphasized: “It’s a long road to succeed as an IT engineer, like a race, and only those who have a clear orientation, detailed plans, passion and perseverance will succeed. We have come today to bring you a clearer understanding about the career you have chosen, how you must prepare, and how to achieve the goals you have set."

Mr. Hoang Le Quoc Anh said: “In 2008, I became a DTU student. Personally speaking, I really enjoyed the DTU culture and study environment and graduated in 2013. Today I have the chance to talk with you and feel quite emotional. I want to tell you that, if you first master a basic knowledge, you will have a solid foundation for your career ahead, which will enable you to gain further knowledge and continually enrich yourselves. When you are confident with your level of knowledge and professionalism, then you will “fly higher and further” on your career journey.”

Guests and lecturers from the DTU International School answered questions, including: Is software engineering suitable for young women? What are the soft skills that engineers need to maximize career success? How do I impress employers in job interviews, and so on.

The workshop enabled students to meet with industry leaders and learn the latest information on securing software engineering jobs and fully achieve their objectives.
