According to a recent VietnamWorks report, professional Accountancy graduates will be in most demand in 2019, promising excellent career paths for qualified DTU students.
Increased career prospects for accountants with international certification
Recently, thousands of companies have gone into business with the need of at least three accountants each and the Accounting major is becoming very popular once again. At the same time, the 4.0 Industrial Revolution and the internet is transforming industry and broadening global career opportunities.
DTU partners with local universities and businesses to provide international accounting certificates
Universities have recently been improving the quality of Accounting education and job prospects. Local companies are proactively collaborating in developing courses to train and graduate highly-qualified professionals.
Most importantly, Accounting graduates must also have excellent English language, team-working and communication skills. DTU has been involved in long-term partnerships with foreign universities. In 2008, DTU first partnered with Pennsylvania State University, a leading American university in Economics and Business Administration, to develop an advanced Accounting curriculum, offering a high-standard international education. Graduates are awared between 18 to 24 PSU Course Completion Certificates.
Internship opportunities at large-scale companies and banks
DTU Accounting lecturers provide the ideal study environment and encourage students to participate in DTU annual Job Fairs and Recruitment Days. The Faculty offers the following majors:

DTU arranges internships with several local businesses, such as the Danang Port, the Danang Rubber Company, Agribank, Vietinbank, BIDV and Vietcombank, to broaden the practical knowledge of students and prepare them for their future careers.

DTU also partners with well-known accounting associations, such as ACCA and CPA Australia, to organize seminars, career orientation sessions and meetings with Accounting experts, in preparation for careers as:

- Accountants in charge of salaries, fixed assets, supplies, payments, taxes and debts.

- Specialists in government agencies, NGOs and consulting firms.
In 2019 season, DTU continues to award preferential scholarships applicants of Accountancy
- Talent scholarships: (full or partial): 215 scholarships with a total value of 11 billion dong, including Accountancy applicants, with high school graduation scores of 20 or higher.
- 39 Full scholarships: 100% of tuition fee, with total value of 3 billion dong, for applicants to the advanced and international PSU program in Accountancy, with a total High School Graduation Exam three-subject score of 23 or above.
- DTU Scholarships: 720 scholarships worth from one to five million dong each for applicants, including Accountancy, with a total High Graduation Exam three-subject score three to ten points higher than the admissions minimum.
- 700 Scholarships: from 500,000 to 2 million dong for applicants, including Accountancy, with a high school transcript score of 22 or above.
