On January 8th, DTU signed an agreement with Unicorn Ultra, attended by the Founder of Unicorn Ultra, Mr. Nguyen Trung Trang; Dr. Nguyen Huu Phu, DTU Vice-Provost; DTU lecturers, staff and Computer Science students; and Unicorn Ultra representatives.

Mr. Le Thai Duong, CEO U2U Venture Builder, said: “We hope that the partnership between DTU and Unicorn Ultra will contribute positively to the quality of education at the university, meeting specific objectives, delivering the required business solutions and updating the students on the latest technologies. At the same time, our close collaboration will broaden career opportunities for students of Computer Science majors."
The signing
After negotiation, DTU and Unicorn Ultra agreed to promote their respective strengths, in accordance with their individual development plans, as follows:
Unicorn Ultra will:
- Exchange knowledge and expertise with DTU, to improve education quality
- Participate in practical training for students at DTU and at Unicorn Ultra
- Facilitate visits, internships and practical experience for DTU students at Unicorn Ultra
- Provide information about workforce requirements and the recruitment of DTU graduates
- Prioritize recruitment of qualified DTU graduates at Unicorn Ultra
- Support the development of the DTU Blockchain Technology Application Research Lab activities
- Provide research materials and personnel to initiate Blockchain technology research
- Support the practical application of the leading research projects at the Lab
- Mobilize capital and social resources for such projects
Unicorn Ultra awards 10 scholarships to disadvantaged students
DTU will:
- Provide qualified personnel to Unicorn Ultra, as required
- Organize field trips and internships at Unicorn Ultra, according to plan
- Monitor, supervise and coordinate with Unicorn Ultra to manage student internships
- Promote the generation of ideas to develop Blockchain applications at the Lab
