The DTU American Degree Program (ADP) is the choice of many Vietnamese families.

The DTU ADP program is a partnership with two well-known American universities, Troy University and Keuka College, who are the only two strategic higher education partners in Central Vietnam and the Central Highlands. Benefiting from the world’s most advanced education quality, ADP students become global citizens through the high-quality degrees awarded by the two regionally accredited institutions.
American-standard curricula, taught completely in English
Troy University and Keuka College have ADP representatives in Danang who currently offers majors in:
- Computer Science (Troy University)
- Hospitality, Sport & Tourism Management (Troy University)
- Management (Keuka College)
These are all key fields, in line with current international trends, leading to a wide choice of job opportunities. The ADP curricula are designed and taught exactly as they are at Troy University and Keuka College. DTU students study with lecturers who are American professors or PhDs, or DTU lecturers approved evaluated by Troy or Keuka. The ADP program guarantees high-quality shared curricula, which steadily results in the internationalization of lecturers and students.
Studying in Vietnam for American Bachelor or Engineering degrees
The highlight of the American Degree Program is that students receive Bachelor or Engineering degrees from an American university without leaving Vietnam, from the two partners:
- Troy University is a public university, established in 1887 in the state of Alabama under its original name of Troy State University, and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges & Schools (SACS). The Princeton Review ranks it among the “Best Colleges in the Southeast and, in 2021, Troy University was ranked 44th among the best Southern universities, by U.S. News
- Keuka College is a private university, established in 1890 in New York state and received Middle States (MSCHE) accreditation in training quality in higher educational institutions in the US. In 2021, Keuka College was ranked 126th among the best Northern universities, by U.S. News

Vietnamese ADP students have access to world-class curricula and receive an international American degree after successfully completing their coursework in Danang. Which serves as a solid foundation for students to reach out into the world, giving them a competitive edge in the labor market and the confidence to work in any country.
Tuition fees in Danang only one tenth of the cost of studying at a university in the US
Tuition fees are always a big barrier to studying abroad, and few Vietnamese families can afford the US living costs. The American Degree Program at DTU is currently an extremely economical choice, at one tenth of the actual cost in the US, and ADP students also benefit from a high-quality international education.
Flexible learning journey with opportunity to transfer to US
The duration of study is four years with ten terms, ranging from basic to specialized training. In practice, ADP students can choose to study full-time in Vietnam for four years, or alternatively transfer to the US at the end of their second year in Vietnam, if eligible, without re-taking the remaining components in Vietnam.

During their four years of study, ADP students participate in international student exchange activities, such as the Passage to ASEAN and the Global Connect Village, together with students from Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, South Korea, and Japan, developing new personal relationships and the required skills. Furthermore, ADP students go on field trips and intern at partner companies according to their majors. This gives them a stronger grasp of what they learned already and teaches them to apply this knowledge in real-time. Accordingly, all ADP graduates are immediately employed after their final-year internships.

In 2023-2024, with a scholarship fund of 18 billion VND, ADP will grant qualified On-Site Study-Abroad students with impressive scholarships covering 30% to 100% of of tuition fees. The objective is to identify talented applicants to meet the needs of the rapidly developing high-quality workforce in Vietnam and internationally.
