First prize went to the project “Applying IoT technology to sericulture”

Le Quang Tu of K23 EVT said: “Observing and learning about silk farming in my hometown, I discovered that it is very demanding work, requiring tight time management and a stable environment for the growth of the silk worms. The “Applying IoT technology to sericulture” project will allow farmers to manage temperature, humidity and light to guarantee healthy conditions with no risk of disease and the best quantity and quality yield of silk when harvesting.”

The 2019 DTU IoT Design and Implementation Contest encourages and promotes creativity and enhances the quality of education.
