The 12th Annual DTU Mini-Football Tournament Awards Ceremony

On October 17th, after a month of competition, the 12th annual DTU football tournament ended impressively with two exciting finals for the championship and third-place prize at a ceremony held at the DTU Sports Stadium.

Ten teams competed, comprising 128 players from various DTU faculties and offices. The teams were divided into two groups to compete for places in semi-finals and finals. The young DTU men competed fairly, at their best, and treated the spectators to some attractive matches with 150 goals scored.
 
Two exciting and dynamic finals for the championship and third-place prizes aroused excited cheers from the spectators. The third-place match between the Inspection Office, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Information Technology team and the Office of Facilities and Engineering team was really dramatic. The young DTU men displayed many beautiful and well-trained dribbling and passing.

In the finals, the Institute of Research and Development, Lab Center, Center of Microbiology, Faculty of Environmental and Chemical Engineering team excited the spectators with their skilled play and beat the Administrative Office and Youth Union team 2-1 to become the champions. A second prize went to the Administrative Office and Unions. Le Hoang Sinh received Best player award and Tran Xuan Vu won best goalkeeper prize.
 
The organizers awarded the style prize to the Office of Facilities and Engineering team. And the referee team received the Best referee of the match.  
 
The annual DTU Mini-Football Tournament is an inspiring opportunity for lecturers and staff to compete with each other, exercise to stay healthy, increase their awareness of sports and promote teamwork and solidarity.
