On Dec 27th, 2010, Doosan VINA Corporation representatives, led by Dr. Kim, their Human Resource Director, paid a working visit to DTU. On behalf of DTU, Dr. Vo Thanh Hai, Vice Provost and Mr. Ho Nguyen Khoa, Dean of Business Administration, warmly welcomed the delegation.
The Working Session.
At the working session, Dr. Kim expressed his appreciation of DTU’s achievements over the past 16 years and proposed a cooperative partnership with DTU. Dr. Kim explained that the Doosan Corporation is developing its business in Vietnam and that finding good local staff is always the number one objective to ensure future success. He suggested recruiting DTU students.
Dr.Hai thanked Doosan for its confidence in Duy Tan University and agreed to work with the company to meet these objectives. Mr. Hai also proposed that Doosan might broaden the relationship by providing internships and scientific research projects for DTU students.
Doosan Vina was established in 2007 with five buildings and 2,000 employees at the Dung Quat Industrial Zone. It is a member of the Doosan Heavy Industries Group, an international corporation with annual revenue over $22 billion, operating in more than 35 countries.
