On November 19, DTU held an awards ceremony for the contest “Write about DTU”. The contest was for literary, musical and commemorative ideas and part of the series of events to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the university.

“The contest was launched to provide an opportunity for lecturers and students to be creative and to elicit their artistic talents to express their most intimate feelings for the university,” said Dr. Vo Thanh Hai. “The literary and artistic performances of the competitors can be interpreted as significant anniversary presents for DTU.”
From June 1 to August 31, many literary, musical and or commemorative submissions were received from DTU staff members, lecturers and students, from the faculties of Medicine, Pharmacy, Accounting, Social Sciences and the Learning Resource Center.
University representatives award prizes
No first prize was awarded but “Duy Tan, a Word of Love”, by Nguyen Huy Phuoc from the Office of International Relations, came second. Two third prizes were won for “Duy Tan Vibe”, by Tran Danh Huy and Dinh Pham Xuan Huy from Medicine, for “25 Years of DTU”, by Tran Vinh Tri, and one consolation prize for “The 25th Anniversary of the Founding of DTU”, by Nguyen Thi Hai Yen from Business Administration. Souvenirs were also presented to all contestants.
Nguyen Thi Hai Yen said. “As a freshman, I am really impressed with the achievements of my fellow students and the investment the university has made in the development of spacious, modern educational facilities for study and research. I wish all lecturers good health and the continuing ability to carry the DTU torch of professional passion for their students on their long journeys to broaden their knowledge and experience.”
