Kicked off in December 2014, the “Gifted Investor” contest attracted more than 1,200 student investors from universities and colleges in the Danang. Participants had the chance to pitch themselves against each other through a virtual exchange system, to learn and get experience from financial experts, and to share knowledge with other students who are interested in securities investment.

Mr Nguyen Duc Man, Acting Dean of DTU International School, said: “The ‘Gifted Investor’ contest was not only aimed at economics students but it was a helpful and practical playground for all students with a passion for finance and stock. Through the contest, our young friends have been able to expand their understanding and to gain hands-on experience right from when they were still at school. This will help them somewhat to become more confident to pursue their passions and to strive for their goals in any career field.”
