Tran Huynh Tuan Son, a DTU K17 TCD2 student, is going on a cross-country bicycle trip. He wants to find out more about the different cultures of Vietnam, help the needy and have the trip of a lifetime! He is receiving much support from his family, friends and DTU.
With his adventurous personality, Tuan Son took his first trip across the Central Highlands when he was in high school. That journey aroused his love and caring for the disadvantaged people in the remote areas he visited.

Tuan Son will help people on his way through sixty-three provinces. He has spent all his savings buying books and stationery for poor children. At each stop, Tuan Son plans to find a temporary job to earn money to finance his journey and also hopes to raise funds from kind-hearted donors. He will give needy children more presents from DTU.
“I want to contribute to communities nationwide and let people know that DTU students are dynamic, enthusiastic and friendly. The support of DTU is very important to me. It brings me more confidence and encouragement to make my dreams come true.” said Tuan Son.
His sixty-day trek begins on September 20th. Let’s all wish Tuan Son a safe and memorable ride across our country!
