On August 20th,2010, DTU and the Danang local government handed over a small house of 20 square meters to Ms. Le Thi Hoa at Hoa Vang, Danang.
DTU contributed 20 million VND to the project which was deducted from the "Youth Project in 2010” fund, raised from donations of DTU’s Youth Union members. DTU’s Board of Provosts, Hoa Khuong People's Committee and Danang’s Youth Union also came to celebrate and to share the joy with her family.
Mr. Pham Dang Quang, Secretary of DTU’s Youth Union said “As well as providing housing for the needy, DTU’s Youth Union also carries out many other important activities, such as cleaning roads, donating blood, organizing the green summer campaign and so on. By attending these activities, students are able to improve their sense of communal responsibility”
