On March 3rd, 2010, a supervisory group from the National Assembly, under the leadership of Mr. Dao Trong Thi, Chairman of the Committee of Culture, Education, Youth and Children, had a meeting with Duy Tan University. Representatives of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Education and Training, Department of Propaganda and Training, The local People's Council as well as the media attended the event.
At this meeting, Dr. Vo Thanh Hai reprted on the founding and development of DTU, and its outstanding achievements so far. He presented the long-term strategy of DTU, including international cooperation, building a solid Party within the university and a well-qualified faculty. DTU also presented on current problems and proposed recommended solutions.
Mr. Dao Trong Thi higly praised the achievements that the entire faculty up to now. He also hoped that DTU would continue to promote its strengths in the future. Most of DTU’s recommendations will be submitted to the National Assembly in the upcoming session.
