Outstanding Education Award Ceremony

On February 10th 2010, Duy Tan University received an important award, which was the class 3 Labour Medal presented by the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for its outstanding achievements in education affairs from 2004 to 2009.
 

The ceremony took place in presence of distinguished guests, central & local press representatives together with many of faculty and students of DTU.

Dr. Phung Tan Viet, Vice-Chairman of Danang People Committee presented the medal and praised the endeavors of Duy Tan University during the process of its development. He stated that “Duy Tan has provided a breakthrough in education, cooperated with world-famous universities, and built a modern infrastructure, all of which has created a brand name of Duy Tan University throughout the country”.

With this significant contribution, Duy Tan university has obtained several rewards, national special flags and certificates of merit from the Prime Minister (2004), Ministry of Education & Training (2005, 2006, 2007), the Danang People’s Committee (2005, 2008) and other rewards from agencies and organizations such as Viet Trademark (2005, 2009).

Addressing at the ceremony, Ms Tran Thi Ha – Director General of the Higher-Education Department – MOET said: “During the past few years, Duy Tan University has taken the lead in innovation improving the quality of education and is respected across the country. DTU is currently one of the six private universities providing postgraduate studies”.

“Thousands of  Duy Tan graduates have made a major contribution to the development of Danang, and Danang should take pride on this University”, she stressed.

As the first and largest private university in Central Vietnam, DTU’s strategic goal is to become a multi-level, multi-discipline university,offening teaching to the highest national and international standards.
