Ninety-Four Percent of DTU Medicine and Pharmacy Students are offered Jobs on Graduation
In 2009, the Ministry of Education and Training authorized DTU to offer a university level Bachelor of Nursing degree program in the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy. In 2020, DTU was restructured by the Board of Provosts into five member Schools, including the School of Medicine & Pharmacy.

Over the past twelve years, the School of Medicine & Pharmacy has enrolled 9,000 students and graduated 4,000, including the majors in General Practitioner and Odontoid-Stomatology, for durations of 6 and 4 years respectively.
The School of Medicine & Pharmacy is one of DTU’s five new schools
The School of Medicine & Pharmacy has offered a two-year International Master of Nursing program, in partnership with Fooyin University in Taiwan, and another program in Pharmacology Management.
The School is staffed by three Professors, nine Associate Professors, thirty-nine PhDs and pre-graduates, seventy post-graduates, eight specialist level-one doctors, two resident doctors and sixty-seven lecturers.
Majors include General Practitioner, Odonto-Stomatology, General Nursing, Pharmacy, Biotechnology and Biomedical Engineering The School has established a strong reputation, with 94% of graduates offered immediate employment.
