DTU announced its minimal 2023 Ministry of Education and Training grades for Health Science programs based on high-school transcripts, 2023 Academic Performance tests and for High School Graduation Exam (HSGE) grades as follows:
Admissions based on 2023 HSGE admissions:
- Medicine = 22.5 points
- Odonto-Stomatology = 22.5 points
- Pharmacy = 21 points
- Nursing = 19 points
Admissions based on high-school transcript:
- Pharmacy / Medicine / Odonto-Stomatology = 24 points
- Nursing = 19.5 points
Admissions based on 2023 Academic Performance test results from Vietnam National University HCMC
- For Medicine, Odonto-Stomatology, Pharmacy = 750 points
- For Nursing: = 700 points

After 15 years, the DTU Health Sciences programs are ranked highly worldwide:
- Top 176-200 worldwide by THE in 2022
- Top 401-450 worldwide by QS World Rankings by Subject in 2023
These rankings reassure Health Science applicants each year, especially in 2023.
DTU partners with well-known American universities and others to develop shared curricula. These include the University of Illinois in Chicago, with the most comprehensive medicine and pharmacy programs in the US; the University of Pittsburgh, ranked 7th in medical research; Duke University-NUS in Singapore; Ben Gurion University in Israel; Burapha, Khon Kaen, and Mahidol Universities in Thailand; and Sun-Moon and Dong-A Universities in South Korea.
In addition, DTU has signed agreements with organizations, such as the SEIREI Social Welfare Community, the Suganuma Group and the EduGo Group in Japan, and partners with Fooyin University in Taiwan to offer an international Master of Nursing program to meet increasing demands at home and abroad. In the first 6 months of 2023, DTU has sent eleven Nursing students to Japan to work on paid internships, with others completing procedures to join them.
DTU has always focused on the development of high-quality curricula and invested in state-of-the-art laboratories and equipment. The university partners with many local hospitals to allow students to learn from a range of clinical situations involving a wide variety of patients, at:

The DTU College of Medicine & Pharmacy (CMP) has constructed several state-of-the-art practice rooms for:
- General Nursing students, using two Japanese standard rooms, donated by the Glome Management
- General Practitioner students have 19 practice rooms with 7 control rooms and 2 debriefing rooms
- Examination and treatment simulation the MedSIM Center in building F, which cost $3 million, so that the entire process of medical examination and treatment can be simulated as in real life, equipped with the “Three Sim Brothers” patient models; SimMan 3G; SimMan Essential; and SimBaby, in addition to three hundred anatomical models
- Odonto-Stomatology students practice with dental chairs fully equipped with electricity, water, air, and dental hand pieces, in addition to a laboratory equipped with molds, colored wax, and dozens of dental simulators
- Pharmacy students practice in laboratories in building C, as well as in the simulated pharmacy and the medicinal garden, all of which meet Ministry of Health standards
- Biotechnology and Biomedical Engineering students use authentic testing and treatment equipment, located in the Center for Molecular Biology (CMB).
DTU has also constructed special centers for the research and development of medical devices, so that Health Science students can practice while serving the community. These include:
