On April 12th, the seven-day 2023 P2A Hybrid Mobility in Hospitality & Tourism program went online and offline for both DTU and foreign ASEAN students, for those interested in foreign cultures and languages who want to communicate directly with each other internationally.
The exchange program is an open learning platform that broadens the perspective of participants about neighboring ASEAN countries, including their geographies, cultures and economies, leading to field visits abroad and expanded future job opportunities .

Dr. Le Nguyen Tue Hang said: “By participating in the 2023 P2A Hybrid Mobility in Hospitality & Tourism program, students can study online and pay site-visits to other ASEAN countries to supplement their theoretical knowledge with practical experience abroad, and improve their communication, leadership and research skills, and career opportunities worldwide.”
The P2A Hybrid Mobility in Hospitality & Tourism 2023 program will run from April 12 to 19 and attract over 100 students from eight ASEAN universities:
- Bukidnon State University in the Philippines
- Duy Tan University
- Panpacific University in the Philippines
- Phenikaa University in Vietnam
- Saint Mary’s University in the Philippines
- Sunway University in Malaysia
- Tarlac State University in the Philippines
- Universitas Muhammadiyah in Indonesia.
The program is jointly organized by DTU and the foreign universities
Students are divided into groups to discuss and work on tourism related video projects entitled: “ASEAN Youth: Digital Dream Actualization.”

- Enhancement of teamwork, critical thinking, leadership and problem-solving skills
- A certificate of participation in the P2A program
- Opportunities to participate in short-term student exchanges with other Southeast Asian countries
- Priority in future international internship programs
In addition to the 2023 P2A Hybrid Mobility in Hospitality & Tourism program, DTU and the other P2A member universities will continue to work together to share an understanding of their experiences and cultures.
