“The purpose of biomimetic restoration in Odonto-Stomatology is to replace all damaged or blemished tooth tissues with biomimetic materials, allowing the teeth to function again normally,” explained the Mani Medical Hanoi Company Product Director, Duong Anh Son. “Biomimetic materials have many advantages, they don’t wear out adjoining teeth, they’re attractive, repairable and biocompatible, and widely used in dentistry today. Biomimetic restoration minimizes tooth tissue invasion, while maintaining appearance at reduced cost and preserving healthy tooth tissues in the long-term.”

The Odonto-Stomatology students learned how to confidently master the optimization of bonds and composites, how to perform biomimetic and indirect restoration, the minimally invasive Cavity Shaping II method, isolation, and the application of filling molds.

The Mani Medical Hanoi representative answered questions on how to most naturally and aesthetically restore teeth, how to use filling molds for standard restoration, and how to optimize support tools, like bonds and composites.
