On March 27, the DTU Youth Union organized a journey to communist and historical sites in Quang Tri province, visiting places such as Vinh Moc tunnels, Quang Tri ancient citadel, and Truong Son National Martyrs Cemetery. The journey was one of a series of activities to celebrate the 91st Anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and to mark the 47th Anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Reunification and the 9th Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Congress of DTU, for the period 2022-2024.
60 outstanding union members representing 17 faculties and institutes and 15 clubs of the DTU Youth Union and the DTU Student Association participated in the journey. They visited sites of special significance to the communist revolution and learnt more about Vietnam’s glorious history there. This made these young people prouder of their country. They visited and offered incense to commemorate fallen soldiers at the Truong Son National Martyrs Cemetery.
Hopefully, DTU union members can learn valuable lessons from history and will put more effort to contribute to developing the country.
