On the afternoon of August 12th, 2009, a Robotics Contest was held by CEE (DTU) and Van Lang University (VLU) at K7/25 Quang Trung Street in Danang.
Taking part in the contest were students from the Information Technology departments of DTU and VLU. There were three parts to the contest: Boebox, Sumo- Robot and Micro House. In these robots were installed electronic special modules manufactured in Japan and America. The contest was well-attended by the many students who came to support the Robots.
Professor Anthony Lattanze from Carnegie Mellon was there and said how much he appreciated the creativity of the students. He also gave some advice on how the students could create more modern robots in the future.
The winning team received a cup at the closing ceremony of the Informatics Festival on August 13th, 2009 at the DTU campus.
