On June 6, 2026, the Faculty of Architecture, under the DTU School of Engineering & Technology (SET), solemnly celebrated its twentieth anniversary in an atmosphere of warmth, emotion, and pride. Twenty years of the Faculty of Architecture: Shaping dreams and professional mark

Twenty years is more than just a milestone; it is a journey of dedication, passion, and creativity of countless lecturers and class after class of students. From its difficult early days, the Faculty of Architecture has steadily established itself a respected institution of architecture education in Central Vietnam that provides the country with high-quality professionals in architecture, planning, and design.

The celebration of the twentieth anniversary of the Faculty of Architecture was attended by leaders of DTU and representatives from government agencies, professional associations, industry partners, and universities, along with a great many former lecturers, alumni, and current students. Especially meaningful was the presence of architects who graduated from DTU, which created an emotional reunion where memories of classrooms, design projects, and youthful times came vividly back to life.

Through the commemorative film Twenty Years: A Journey, the guests, lecturers, and students revisited the development of the Faculty with memorable milestones, commitment to projects, specialized awards, and the success of class upon class in architecture competitions both domestic and international. It is a story of continuous effort to build an educational environment closely connected to professional practice, where creativity is encouraged and commitment to community service is nurtured.

One of the most meaningful moments of the celebration was the tribute to the lecturers who laid the foundation of the Faculty and shaped its growth throughout the past two decades. Bouquets of flowers, small gifts, and prolonged applause expressed heartfelt gratitude to the teachers whose devotion inspired thousands of students. Their dedication has fostered a close-knit, distinctive community of architecture at DTU that remains connected across the years.

Throughout its development, the Faculty of Architecture has focused not only on improving training but also on building durable partnerships with businesses, professional organizations, and educational institutions in Vietnam and abroad. These partnerships provide students with more opportunities for internship, hands-on experiences, and exposure to professional environments while still in school.

A highlight of the event was that the Faculty of Architecture officially launched its Architecture Student Talent Fund. Established through contributions from alumni, lecturers, and partners, the fund aims to support students with good academic performance, passion, and growth potential in architecture. Beyond material assistance, the fund symbolizes the spirit of sharing, solidarity, and responsibility of the community of architecture at DTU for future generations.

As it enters a new chapter, the DTU Faculty of Architecture remains committed to practice-oriented training, international integration, and creative development. With its strong foundation that was built over the past two decades, the Faculty is where big ideas take flight, talented architects are nurtured, and better living spaces are created for communities and society.
