Ho Khac Hieu - Vietnam’s Youngest Associate Professor
The National Professorship Council has awarded Professor and Associate Professor status to 522 lecturers, of whom 52 received full Professorships.
Associate Professor Dr. Ho Khac Hieu
Ho Khac Hieu is a young lecturer and researcher at the DTU Center for Research and Development. At 31, he is the youngest Associate Professor in Vietnam. His major field of study is theoretical solid-state physics and he has authored 22 papers national and internationally, including SCI 12 articles. He has also just completed a Nafosted project and will begin a new one shortly.
Ho Khac Hieu said: “I have received strong support from the DTU Board of Provosts since I started working at the DTU Center for Research and Development. I work with many highly-qualified PhD research graduates from institutes abroad and can concentrate well in such an environment. When I received my Associate Professorship I was honored and am now determined to work even harder in the future”.
