Announcement of Publication of the New DTU Scientific Journal

On 15th August, 2011, DTU held a ceremony to announce the publication of the new DTU Scientific Journal, licensed by the Ministry of Information & Communications (MIC). Attending at the ceremony were Mr. Huynh Phuoc, Manager of the Danang Science & Technology Department, Mr. Tran Duc Anh Son, Deputy Head of the Danang Socio-Economic Research & Development Institute, Ms. Nguyen Kim Ngan, Chief Representative of The Danang Labor Newspaper, local researchers and DTU staff.

Mr. Le Cong Co, DTU Chairman & Rector said: “It is a significant achievement for DTU to be the first private university in Vietnam to publish a scientific journal, licensed by MIC. The journal will encourage DTU lecturers and staff to share the results of their research with DTU colleagues and others”.

The Editorial Board includes: Dr. Phan Ngoc Thu as General Editor; Dr. Le Nguyen Bao and Dr. Dinh Luu as Deputy General Editors, and DTU staff members.

The Editorial Board of the DTU Scientific journal 

On behalf of the Editorial Board, Dr. Phan Ngoc Thu said: “We should maintain our strong local cultural characteristics in the journal. We should do our best to make the DTU Scientific Journal a popular source of information about scientific breakthroughs in Central Vietnam for our readers”.

The DTU Scientific Journal will include articles on Social Science & Humanities, Natural Science, Technology and so on. Staff, faculty, graduates and students of DTU or other universities can submit their research papers to the DTU Scientific journal offices at K7/25 Quang Trung Str., Danang.
