Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Binh, DAFO Chairman, said: "In the context of the rapidly changing and unpredictable global situation, the work of people-to-people diplomacy requires continuous innovation, creativity, and flexibility to make the people-to-people foreign affairs of Da Nang city increasingly comprehensive and distinctive. It aims to mobilize more sectors, levels, and community layers to participate and contribute both human and material resources to diversify and elevate the scale of people-to-people foreign affairs activities.

Today's signing ceremony holds significant importance as a milestone marking the development phase of cooperation between the two units. I am confident that with the determination of both sides, the signing ceremony will contribute to enhancing the effectiveness of organizing people-to-people foreign affairs activities in Da Nang city. This, in turn, will help expand international exchanges and cooperation, strengthening the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam in general, and the city of Da Nang in particular, with countries around the world."

After a period of research, DTU and DAFO have decided to sign a Cooperation Agreement on coordinating the implementation of people-to-people foreign affairs activities in Da Nang City for the period 2024 - 2026. This serves as the legal basis for deploying cooperative activities in the coming time, contributing to enhancing the effectiveness of people-to-people foreign affairs work in Da Nang and expanding international exchanges and cooperation. It aims to strengthen the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam in general and Da Nang in particular with countries worldwide.
