In 2023, DTU continues to offer attractive scholarships worth hundreds of billions of VND to DTU applicants, including:
- Full and Partial scholarships for ADP programs
- Full scholarships for advanced and international programs
- Full and Partial scholarships for HP programs
Scholarships for overseas programs and advanced and international programs
DTU attracts many applicants each year, based on its academic reputation and dynamic study environment. Its high-quality programs are internationally accredited by ABET and UNWTO.Tedqual, and allow students to benefit from partnerships with countries with well-developed educational systems. These include:
- Overseas programs, in collaboration with Troy University and Keuka College
- Advanced programs, with CMU-Carnegie Mellon, PSU-PennState, CSU-CalState and PNU-Purdue

Sixty-seven full and partial scholarships with a total value of 18 billion VND will be awarded to successful applicants entering the On-Site Study-Abroad program, graduating with a US degree, including:
- Full scholarships throughout the course for applicants with 26 or higher in the HSGE
- A 50% discount on all tuition fees for those scoring 24 up to 26 in the HSGE
- A 30% reduction on all tuition fees for those with an IELTS score of 6.0 or higher
Sixty-five full scholarships to students entering:
- The advanced and international programs, in collaboration with CMU, PSU, CSU or PNU, with a three-subject HSGE score of 25 or higher
DTU Talent Program scholarships
In 2018, DTU added Talent Program scholarships to its unique scholarship portfolio, aimed at educating high-scoring, talented and self-confident applicants up to international standards, in preparation for integration into the global marketplace. Students are taught to fully master their individual specialties, in addition to achieving advanced levels in Informatics, English language and creative, reasoning and strategic planning skills. Talent Program students study from 3 to 3.5 years to obtain a Bachelor’s degree and another 1.5 years for a Master’s degree, all at DTU.
225 Talent Program scholarships will be awarded to applicants with HSGE three-subject scores of:
- 25 points or more, for full scholarships throughout the course
- 23 to 25 points or more for a 50% reduction in tuition fees throughout the course
Vietnamese and foreign students from countries, such as the US, Zimbabwe, South Korea, Taiwan, Myanmar, the Philippines and Laos, have already chosen to enroll in the DTU Talent program.

Preferential Scholarships to DTU Member Schools (SCS, SBE, SET, LHSS, HTi)
DTU awards 24 full and partial scholarships to encourage qualified applicants to enroll in majors that are not included in the On-Site Study-Abroad, Advanced & International or Talent (HP) programs, applicants must have a High School Graduation Exam (HSGE) three-subject score of:
- 26 points or more for a full scholarships throughout the course
- 24 points to 26 points for 50% scholarships throughout the course
In addition, several other attractive scholarships are awarded:
- 197 full scholarships for Bachelor, Master, and PhD courses with a total value of 46 billion VND, for applicants with total HSGE three-subject scores of 26 points or more
- A 30% reduction on tuition throughout the course for applicants to majors in Architecture, Construction, Environmental Sciences or Biotechnology in 2023
- Discounts of 70%, 50%, and 30% respectively on first-year tuition for applicants who have already won first, second or third prizes at provincial or city or science & technology competitions held by departments of education & training
Furthermore, there are an additional 720 scholarships totaling 1.4 billion VND, available to applicants with 2023 HSGE results with total three-subject score above the admissions minimum:
- ≥ 12 points above: 20 scholarships, 5 million VND
- ≥ 11 points above: 30 scholarships, 4 million VND.
- ≥ 10 points above: 40 scholarships, 3.5 million VND
- ≥ 09 points above: 50 scholarships, 3 million VND
- ≥ 08 points above: 60 scholarships, 2 million VND
- ≥ 07 points above: 70 scholarships, 2 million VND
- ≥ 06 points above: 200 scholarships, 1.5 million VND
- ≥ 05 points above: 250 scholarships, 1 million VND
Transcript-based admissions:
Early transcript-based applications increase the chances of acceptance into preferred majors, and the following:
- 250 scholarships, worth 2.5 million VND with a School Transcript average score of 27 or higher
- 200 scholarships, worth 2 million VND for scores of 26 to 27
- 150 scholarships, worth 1.5 million VND each for scores of 25 to 26
- 100 scholarships, worth 1 million VND each for scores of 24 up to 25
