Early 2023 DTU Admissions & HSGE Admissions Grades

DTU announced its minimal 2023 grades for early (conditional) admission, based on high-school transcripts, for admission based on 2023 Academic Performance tests and for the minimal High School Graduation Exam (HSGE) grades as follows:
 
I. Minimal grade for early admission

1. Admissions based on high-school transcript 
 
Admission grade = total three-subject score + preferential points
 
1.1 Pharmacy, Medicine, Odonto-Stomatology: admission grade = 24 points
- graduated high school magna cum laude or higher, or a graduation score of 8.0 or higher
 
1.2 Nursing: admission grade = 19.5 points
- graduated high school  cum laude or higher, or a graduation score of 6.5 or higher
 
1.3 Architecture: admission grade = 17 points
 
1.4 Other majors: admission grade = 18 points
 
Applicants should note that: 
 
- Drawing test scores: candidates can use drawing exam grades from any university in Vietnam
- Applicants can find the conditional admissions list HERE and update missing information if necessary

2. Admissions based on 2023 Academic Performance test results from Vietnam National University HCMC or Hanoi
 
2.1. Admissions based on 2023 Academic Performance test results from VNU HCMC
 
- For general disciplines: a total of at least 650 points
- For Nursing: a total of at least 700 points, and grade-12 results cum laude or higher, or a high school graduation score of 6.5 or higher
- For Medicine, Odonto-Stomatology, Pharmacy: a total of at least 750 points, and grade-12 results magna cum laude or higher, or a high school graduation score of 8.0 or higher
 
2.2. Admissions based on 2023 Academic Performance test results from VNU Hanoi
 
- For general disciplines: a total of at least 75 points
- For Nursing: a total of at least 80 points and grade-12 results cum laude or higher, or a high school graduation score of 6.5 or higher
- For Medicine, Odonto-Stomatology, Pharmacy: a total of at least 85 points and grade-12 results magna cum laude or higher, or a high school graduation score of 8.0 or higher
 
II. Minimal grade for 2023 HSGE admissions
 
Admission grade = total three-subject score + preferential points
 
1. Medicine, Odonto-Stomatology, Pharmacy, Nursing: Admission grade = minimal grade determined by Ministry of Education & Training (MoET), to be announced on July 25, 2023
 
2. Other majors: Admission grade = 14 points
 
3. Architecture: Admission grade = 14 points , drawing grade without multiplier
 
III. Enrollment period: To be confirmed by MoET, between August 22 and September 6, 2023

IV. Enrollment conditions
 
 Applicants must apply through the MoET information portal for admission and the following three conditions must be met:
 
- High school graduation 
- Conditional admission through the MoET information portal site, from July 10 to 30, 2023
- Paid application fee through the online system from, July 31 to August 06
 
DTU allows applicants to change their majors during enrollment.
 
V. Enrollment application
 
- Admission form issued by DTU
- A notarized copy of high school transcript
- An original Academic Performance test result transcript, as appropriate
- An original provisional high school graduation certificate or a notarized copy if graduated before 2023
- Copies of documents certifying status of preferential person or area, if applicable, such as a certificate of status of a child of war dead; a war invalid’s card; proof of applicability of policies for war invalids to themselves or to parents; or other preferential certificates.
 
VI. Enrollment
 
For optimal support to applicants when enrolling, DTU provides the following enrollment instructions:
 
1. In-person enrollment
 
a. Schedule
 
From August 22 to September 6, 2023.
- Mornings: from 07:00 to 11:00 (Monday to Sunday)
- Afternoons: from 13:00 to 17:00 (Monday to Sunday)
 
b. Location
 
Applicants confirm their first-wave enrollment online through the MoET portal and visit DTU in person at 254 Nguyen Van Linh, Thanh Khe, Danang and pay tuition and other fees
 
c. Tuition payment 
 
Tuition fees can be paid in two ways:
 
c1. First method: Bank order
 
- Beneficiary: DUY TAN UNIVERSITY
- First account number: 118 000 181 119
- At: Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry & Trade (VIETINBANK).
 
or
 
- Second account number: 68 11 11 1994
- At: Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (VCB).
 
The Admissions Form: “Payment of 1st term tuition fee for [student’s full name], application number: [code shown on admission notice, consisting of 6 digits]”.E.g.: Payment of 1st term tuition fee for John Doe, application number: 999999
 
Note: When visiting the university for enrollment, students or parents must bring proof of payment from their bank and will receive a tuition receipt from the DTU Planning & Financial Affairs Department at 137 Nguyen Van Linh, Danang.
 
c1. Second method: Cash payment at the university
 
2. Online enrollment
 
Step 1: Applicants visit the online enrollment web page at http://nhaphoc.duytan.edu.vn
Step 2: Enter the required information.
Step 3: Pay tuition and other fees by bank transfer (see instructions above)
 
Warning:
 
- If tuition fees are paid by bank transfer (internet banking), students or parents should take a screenshot of the transaction and attach this during enrollment procedure
 
- If tuition fees are paid at a bank counter, students or parents should photograph the receipt and attach this during enrollment procedure
 
Step 4: DTU will send an email with the class schedule, or the faculty will provide it.
