DTU Honors Two Student Athletes with High Achievements at the 32nd SEA Games

On June 16, DTU held a commendation ceremony to recognize Nguyen Huu Kim Son and Le Thi Nhi for their significant contributions to Vietnam at the 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia. Hero of Labor and Distinguished Teacher Le Cong Co, DTU President, congratulated them both and awarded Certificates of Merit in recognition of their accomplishments at the games. 
 
Nguyen Huu Kim Son is a swimmer and a first year Business Administration student. He and his teammates won a gold medal in the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay and a silver in the men’s 1500 m freestyle race. 
 
Kickboxer Le Thi Nhi, a first-year student of Cultural Tourism, won a gold in the women’s 50 kg lightweight category. 
 
Distinguished Teacher Le Cong Co awards certificates of merit to Nguyen Huu Kim Son and Le Thi Nhi
 
Kim Son had previously won two gold medals at the 29th SEA Games in 2017 and at the 31st in 2022. 
 
Le Thi Nhi also has a remarkable record. She won a bronze medal in kickboxing at the 31st SEA Games in 2022; and gold medals in the Youth Kickboxing Tournament in 2020 and 2021 respectively.
 
Within the framework of the program, the university also praised other young DTU athletes who excelled at the Games, following the example set by Ho Chi Minh.
