During his primary school years, Anh Minh tried to overcome the poor living conditions in his hometown. He said: “I spent my childhood in the An Nghia commune, in the Hoai An district, a remote area of the Binh Dinh province. My school there was not well-equipped so we couldn’t use the latest study materials. However, the dedicated teachers there encouraged us to study hard and continue naturing our dreams."

In 12th grade, Anh Minh began to learn about programming robots and his interest increased considerably. He said: “I learned about robot design, programming and production online but was unable to practice with real models. I read about programming robots that I could build myself.”

On the path of success, there is no evidence of holding back

Anh Minh is always self-motivated to work hard and overcome all difficulties in pursuit of his dream,

Anh Minh said: “Whenever I face failure or challenges, I remind myself of Lu Xun's quote: “On the road to success, there is no trace of laziness.” We will never succeed without a firm objective. For four years, the very guidance and support of the DTU lecturers and the university in general has strongly motivated me. Now, by myself, I can create a mobile robot with all the necessary controls and movements. My intensive education and basic knowledge have enabled me to perfect several practical technology products that can now be used in the community, as I’d hoped.”

Anh Minh has won many valuable awards:

- Third prize in the 2018 Go Green in the City contest, with his “Green house” project
- First prize in the 2018 Circuit design contes, held by the Electrical Engineering faculty
