On September 25, the DTU Faculty of Architecture and Arts held a welcoming ceremony for their new 2019 students.

The freshmen enjoyed musical performances, especially the traditional welcoming procession of the Goddess of Beauty.
The paper fashion contest
Dr. An congratulated the K25 freshmen on passing their high school exams and becoming DTU students. He advised them to manage their time wisely to succeed in their studies and research, meanwhile acquiring the skills they need to become productive members of the community after graduation.
Then, Mr. Yabuki, a representative of JOOSS Scholarship Fund, talked about the agreement between DTU and JOOSS Fund and his program to study at DTU and work in Japan.

In addition, the DTU Faculty of Architecture and Arts has also signed agreements with VICO Investment JSC and JIBANENT ASIA, from Japan. Many other companies also offer scholarships and other awards to Architecture and Arts students.

The new students met senior students and shared tips about effective study techniques and the lecturers then presented information about job orientation activities and future careers.
Excited freshmen
The DTU Faculty of Architecture was founded in June 2006 and is one of the core, traditional DTU faculties. Up to now, the faculty has graduated 1,000 students and the academic qualifications of the faculty have significantly improved. Most lecturers now are architects or graphic designers, with Doctorate or Master’s degrees, from national and international universities worldwide, especially Professors from the U.S and Japan.
