Traditional Reunion of Comrades of B14 and Urban Movement of Hue

On March 26th, to commemorate the 85th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the 41st anniversary of Hue Liberation Day, Le Cong Co, the former revolutionary soldier, known as Le Phuong Thao, now DTU President and Provost, Distinguished Teacher and Hero of Labor, held a reunion of comrades of the B14 and Urban Movement of Hue.

War has receded into the past, but the memories of battles for national independence and freedom will still burn in the minds of comrades of the B14 and Urban Movement of Hue forever. There were powerful embraces and happy smiles as the comrades were finally met again after many years of separation.

Mr. Co said: “Everyone has their own destiny, but, no matter how old we are or who we are, we should all attempt to assist in the continuing development of Vietnam. I have worked with my close colleagues to establish Duy Tan University and provide our local community with highly-qualified graduates. As a member of the Party, I promise to live for the people and help the disadvantaged in our society.”

Mr.Co met with the Thua Thien Hue Youth Union. Hearing war stories from Distinguished Teacher Le Cong Co, the former secretary of the Thua Thien Hue Province from 1969 to 1972, today’s members were filled with pride and resolved to focus their studies to help improve the prosperity of Vietnam.
