Training Programs and other Freshman Activities

On September 15th, DTU started running a training program and other activities for new students of class K21. They were able to learn more about the programs, facilities and their majors at DTU.

Dr Vo Thanh Hai, DTU Vice-Provost said: “I welcome you all to Duy Tan University. After studying in primary and secondary schools for 12 years, you have learned much, and now the university will provide you with additional knowledge and skills to prepare for your careers and realize your dreams. During the years you will be studying here, you will hear a lot about ‘Dreams’, ‘Aspirations’, ‘Creating and Innovating’. Those are the mottos of our university, our objective is to train generations of talented, brave, and confident students to contribute to the building of our country. I hope you will always do your utmost in your studies, in your research and in practice to reap the finest results.”
 
  
Performances to welcome the K21 Freshmen
 
The training program and activities continued until September 27th. Staff members and lecturers provided general information on the history and development of the university, its achievements over the last 20 years, union activities, and so on. The also discussed the DTU credit system, rules and policies. Student learned how to use the MyDTU system and attended orientation sessions, including information on future career paths with department heads.
 
“I now know much more about the founding and development of the university of my choice, Duy Tan, which makes me proud to  become a student here,” said Freshman Nguyen Tran Kieu My of the Nursing program. “Having a solid grasp of important information about curricula and majors, together with a clear orientation towards the future will encourage me to study diligently to achieve my long-term goals.”
