Sunflower Mission Scholarships for DTU Students

On September 12th, DTU and eSilicon Vietnam announced the Sunflower Mission Scholarship Program. Students were given details of the scholarships and the working environment at eSilicon Vietnam.

A representative of eSilicon Vietnam in Danang explained Sunflower Mission Scholarships, and how to apply for internships and jobs at the company. He talked about chip design, the manufacturing process, testing and the roles of the IT professionals there. 
 
  
 DTU students 
 
Huynh Thi Nhu Minh, from the K21 Software Engineering class said: “Today’s program is very beneficial for first year students. The engineers from eSilicon Vietnam have given me a clearer idea for my future. I hope that DTU will host other events with local businesses so that we can broaden our study and career opportunities.”
 
Students of Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT and Software Engineering are eligible for the scholarships. In 2015-2016, up to sixty scholarships worth $300 each will be awarded. Winners will be offered internships at eSilicon Vietnam. Four DTU students were awarded Sunflower Mission scholarships in 2014-2015.
