The 2015 DTU Graduation Ceremony

DTU held a ceremony for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree graduates at the Trung Vuong Theatre on June 5th. From the day they graduate, paths to new careers will open up for them.

Many guests, lecturers and graduates at the ceremony

Distinguished Teacher Le Cong Co, DTU President and Provost, said: “We, the people of Vietnam, have traveled a long and difficult road, from the times of Ly Thuong Kiet with Nam Quoc Son Ha, Nguyen Trai with Binh Ngo Dai Cao to the time of Ho Chi Minh, who said: ‘Nothing is more precious than independence and freedom’. Much has changed, we have made great leaps forward but our country is still poor. So our new graduates must be aware of the vital role they must play in our country’s destiny. They should be proud of their roots but must develop their intellect to make our country more prosperous. This S-shaped strip of land we now inhabit has been protected by the blood, sweat and tears of previous generations. So the younger generation must continue to maintain and protect it, recognizing the teaching of Ho Chi Minh and his dream that DTU is making a reality, ‘The Duy Tan Dream: International Collaboration, Broadening our Intellect for a Brighter Future, Marching into the World’.”
