On March 7th, the DTU Trade Union hosted a celebration to commemorate the 105th anniversary of International Women’s Day, as a tribute to all the female DTU lecturers and staff.
Distinguished Teacher Le Cong Co gives flowers to Ms. Truong Thi Hue, Head of DTU Women’s Union
Opening the ceremony, Ms. Truong Thi Hue, Deputy Chairperson of the DTU Trade Union and Head of the DTU Women’s Union reviewed the proud history of Women’s Day, the Hai Ba Trung revolution and the important role of women in the continuing development of Vietnam. Ms. Hue also praised the remarkable educational contributions and achievements of the DTU Women’s Union over the past year.
Many outstanding DTU women were presented certificates of merit and gifts. Distinguished Teacher Le Cong Co, DTU President and Provost, said:
“Over the years, the DTU Women’s Union have been recognized for nurturing the unique traditions of all Vietnamese women, making a significant contribution to the development of DTU and the local community in general. We wish you good health and happiness in order to maintain your efforts.”

At the end of the meeting, Doctor Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhan, Vice-Director of the Beauty Salon at the Family Hospital, gave a presentation on health and beauty.
