DTU Students Donate Funds to Build Latrines for Poor Households

Positively responding to the movement entitled "Building 150 latrines for poor households in Danang city" launched by the Standing Committee of the Danang Youth Union, on December the 6th, the DTU Youth union visited three poor households in Cam Le district and donated funds to help them build toilets. This is one of the practical activities of the DTU youth in response to the campaign "Volunteer Youth Year 2014" and "Young people join hands to build a new rural area", launched by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

DTU students donated 5 million dong to Mrs Ngo Thi Khang

DTU students donate 15 million to three poor families in Cam Le district to help them build three latrines. This practical action has become an invaluable present to the poor.
 
Another 5 million dong was given to Mr. Tran Van Giong

Receiving the donation of the DTU students, Mr. Tran Van Giong, who lives in Hoa Tho Tay Ward, Cam Le district, said: "Our family is very grateful to the DTU students for the support. Last year, on Tet Holiday, DTU  gave my family some Tet gifts to make our Tet warmer."

Over the years, DTU students have had many volunteer activities which demonstrate their social responsibility to the community.
