On November 10th 2010, DTU held a party for all lecturers and staff, to celebrate the 16th Anniversary (11/11/1994- 11/11/2010) and Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, on November 20th. There were many special guests, including Professor Pham Minh Hac, Professor Tran Hong Quan, Professor Pham Phu and other educationalists.

On behalf of DTU Management Board, Mr. Le Cong Co expressed his thanks to everyone for their remarkable contributions to the development of DTU over the past 16 years. He also expressed his gratitude to the special guests who have always supported DTU. The atmosphere was very friendly and joyful and an excellent opportunity for all to further strengthen relationships.
The DTU Board of Rectors also presented awards to outstanding students who excelled in the “Loa Thanh Academic Awards of 2010” program. Mr.Dang Xuan Nam, with his “Architectural Space Project on the Nguyen Van Linh-Dragon Bridge in Danang”, faced with stiff competition, won the first only prize nationwide. In addition, the DTU Futsal team was chosen to compete in the final round of U-League 2010, organized by MOET. These two special accomplishments were considered as gifts from DTU students to the university on its 16th Anniversary.
