Thesis Defense Hearing for Transfer Program Students

From August 23rd to 28th, 2010, Duy Tan University held a Thesis Defense Hearing for transfer students moving from vocational to undergraduate level in Accounting, Information Technology, Telecommunications and Informatics.

269 students met the requirements to defend their theses, the rest of student had to take a written final exam. "Although transfer students are at a lower level compared with others, there is no preferential treatment for them. We evaluate their work scientifically. Furthermore, students’ theses must address the practical problems logically. Generally speaking, most of the theses met requirements" said Dr. Le Duc Toan, President of the Board of Examiner.

Students can enroll in the transfer program from July to October annually. On graduation, students are able to transfer from the vocational or associate level to undergraduate level. Transfer program courses are scheduled in the evenings so that participants can work and study simultaneously. With this credit based system, students can select their own subjects to shorten their learning time.
