National Student Architecture Festival 2010

The Seventh national Student Architecture Festival was held at the Hanoi University of Civil Engineering from March, 24-27, 2010 with the participation of seventeen universities nationwide. The festival celebrated the 1,000th anniversary of Hanoi- the capital city of Vietnam.

The festival included short contests on Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square for 1st-3rd year students and at the Thang Long Royal Citadel for 4-5th year students,including poster design and so on.

Seventeen DTU’s students participated in the festival and achieved excellent results. In the quick design contest for 1st-3rd year students, Ngo Le Da Nhi-K13KTR3 won the first prize, Vo Xuan Minh-K13KTR2 got the second prize and Duong Vu Hai-K13KTR3 took the third prize. The third prize in the quick design contest for 4-5th year students went to Tran Huu Nghi-K12KTR1. In the poster contest, the second prize was awarded to Tran Le Hung and Tran Nhat Tan-K11KR2, and the third prize to Tran Le Hung. Duy Tan University students won the third prize in science.

The student Architecture Festival is organized every two years by the Vietnam Architects’ Association. The next festival in 2012 is scheduled to be held at the Danang University of Technology.
