To continue developing training and international cooperation, DTU signed an agreement with Aieraa Overseas Studies on April 27th. DTU will welcome and train medical students from India and other South Asian countries directly selected and enrolled by the Indian company Aieraa Overseas Studies starting in the academic year 2022–2023, guaranteeing their academic abilities, health, and language skills following management criteria for foreigners studying in Vietnam.
The signing ceremony

From the side of Aieraa Overseas Studies, there were Director Ms Deepa Ranganathan, Deputy Director Ms Dhanalakshmi Kanagaraj, Deputy Director for Enrollment Mr Prabath Ravindiran, and Assistant Director and Head of Technical Department Mr Raunak Raj. The Indian company Aieraa Overseas Studies has a lot of experience selecting Indian students and sending them to other countries around the world for studie, especially in Medicine. In March, the Aieraa Overseas Studies Board of Directors made a preliminary visit to DTU and visited the laboratories for medicine, pharmacy, and nursing on its campuses: laboratories of the Faculty of Medicine, the Center for Molecular Biology, the Center for Medical Simulation, and the Pre-Clinical Simulation Center, and the practice rooms of the Faculty of Pharmacy and the two new practice rooms of the Faculty of Nursing (funded by Japan).
“Vietnam and India are part of the Asia–Pacific–Atlantic partnership and have a traditional friendship and closeness,” DTU Vice Provost Assoc.Prof. Dr Nguyen Ngoc Minh said. “Today’s signing ceremony for training in Medicine between us is a concrete example. This is also just a first step; training for General Practitioner takes relatively long, such that difficulties will certainly not be few. But I believe we’ll overcome them all for, based on our resolve, constructive spirit, collaboration, sharing, and empathy, all will go well.”
